Thomas P. Donnelly Co-presents "Boot Camp" Seminar on Practical and Procedural Issues Facing Bucks County

Thomas P. Donnelly co-presented a “boot camp” seminar on the practical and procedural issues facing lawyers in scheduling and conducting jury trials in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas. The seminar, co-sponsored by the Young Lawyers Division of the Bucks County Bar Association, provided information on pre-trial procedures in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas: scheduling matters, pre-trial conferences, jury selection and trial day considerations.

Honorable Wallace H. Bateman, Jr., provided valuable insight from the perspective of the trial judge. The trial assignment procedures in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas facilitate the efficient administration of the court docket. However, many of the pre-trial procedures are unique to Bucks County and are not without potential pitfalls.

Mellon Webster & Shelly is poised to provide valuable assistance as local counsel in navigating the court system and facilitating an efficient jury trial.
