Pharmaceuticals — Fen-Phen

The law firm of Mellon Webster & Shelly successfully filed numerous lawsuits representing many individuals who suffered serious injury from the use of the diet drug known as Fen-Phen. Such injuries included heart valve disease and primary pulmonary hypertension. The lawsuits filed in the Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia, were successfully resolved against the defendant manufacturer, American Home Products. Leading cardiologists and scientists supported the effort by Mellon, Webster & Shelly to prove their clients had sustained unnecessary health complications from the use of the drug.
